Hazel Wolfe Prestwood, age 81, of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Hazel was born on July 6, 1944 in Wilkes County, North Carolina to the late Robert and Maie Wolfe.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray Prestwood; 5 brothers; and 4 sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Tammy Gaston and husband John; sons, Gary R. Prestwood and wife Leslea and Bobby A. Prestwood and wife Leighann; brother, Vilas Wolfe and wife Lavona; sister, Rita Setzer; 4 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Hazel was an independent woman. She knew what she wanted, and she knew how she wanted it done too. She adored her grandchildren and family. She will be dearly missed.

Per Hazel's wishes there will be no services held.
