Henry Ruebin Earnest, age 81, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at his residence. He was born March 18, 1944 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama to Henry Grady Earnest and Ora Lee Rowe Earnest. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his stepson, Michael Call.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Margaret Ann Taylor Earnest of the home; daughter, Julie Ann Call of Alabama; stepson, William R. Call and wife Kathy of Happy Valley; and a grandchild, Jeff Heffner.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 3:30 P.M. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
