Howard Floyd Bennett, age 79, of Lenoir went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. He was born May 13, 1945 in Mecklenburg County to the late Lawrence Allen Bennett and Pauline Everidge Bennett. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Gail Kincaid Bennett.

Mr. Bennett was a retired custodian and bus driver.

Those left to cherish his memory include one son, Max Lawing (Jennifer); one grandson, Tyler Lawing (Faith Coffey); one great-grandchild, Harley Grace Coffey; best friend, Kelly Miller; and many beloved friends and church family.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Littlejohn United Methodist Church with Rev. Rich Irwin officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at the church.
