Howard Logan was born June 22, 1963. He took his final breath and transitioned on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Lenoir Healthcare Center, Lenoir, NC

The youngest son of the late Harvey Louis William Logan, and the late Mattie Mae (Brooks) Logan, he grew up in Bostic, NC, on Harvey Logan Road with his six siblings. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School (Cavaliers).

He leaves to cherish fond memories, 1 child: Son, Shevon Logan and his mother

5 siblings:

Josephine Ferguson (DMV-DC Metropolitan), Harvey Logan (Flint, MI), Eddie Logan (Reidsville, NC), Patricia "Trish" Mayse (Greensboro, NC), and Julie Logan (Charlotte, NC) and 1 brother proceeded in death, Jan, 2026: Ronnie Logan (Forest City, NC).

And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunt (Ethel Brooks) and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to honor the life of Howard Logan will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00PM with Jimmy Hamilton officiating.
