Isaac Manual Shatley, Jr., age 71, of Lenoir passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born December 13, 1951 in Caldwell County to the late Isaac Manual Shatley, Sr. and Viola Mae Hoyle Shatley. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Deanna Deloris Shatley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife and loving companion, Virginia "Dare" Collins of the home; one son, Isaac Michael Shatley of Lenoir; one daughter, Kristie Edmisten and husband Keith of Lenoir; one brother, Kevin Shatley and wife Toni of Lenoir; three sisters, Kay Greene and husband Bill of Taylorsville, Teresa Pritchard of Lenoir, and Gail Dyson of Taylorsville; six grandchildren, Brittany Philyaw, Justin Shatley, Jacob Shatley, Shyana Shatley, Bryson Shatley, and Lexie Shatley; two great-grandchildren, Kiley Clark and Khalil Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Mountain View Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Hoyle. Interment will immediately follow at Shatley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Stansburry, Mike Moody, Kevin Pritchard, Steve Snyder, Justin Shatley, and Rick Crump. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Shatley and Bud Brookshire.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
