Jimmy Lee Walker, age 84, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026.

Jimmy was born on January 25, 1942 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Dallas and Pearl Walker.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Harris Walker; brothers, Wayne Walker and Randy Walker; and sisters-in-law, Juanita Jackson Walker and Mildred Harrison Walker.

Those left to cherish his memory include his brothers, Garland Walker and wife Pat and Terry Walker; sister-in-law, Lisa Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jimmy loved fast cars and driving around. He drove everywhere. He was a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. Jimmy loved to eat. He was a connoisseur of good food. He loved his wife and his family dearly, and they loved him just as much. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service to honor the life of Jimmy Walker will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 11:00am at Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Devin Severt and Reverend Timothy Hamby officiating.
