James Andrew Pitts, age 40, of Lenoir, NC, passed away on Saturday July 8, 2023.

James was born on March 21, 1983 to Sandra Moretz and the late James Pitts in Caldwell County, NC.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother Sandra Moretz; daughters Allison McNeil and Shannon McNeil; brother Brandon Smith; aunts Annette Rayle, Donna Moretz, and Cindy Mortez; uncle Billy Joe Moretz; grandfather Billy Mortez; and grandmother Patricia Barlow.

A memorial service will be held to honor James Pitts at a later date.
