James "Jim" William Goble, age 67, gained his angel wings and met His Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson. He was born January 6, 1956 to the late Charles and Anna Harmon Goble.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Harmon; his sister, Patricia Goble; nephew, Shane Goble; and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Jim was the owner of Goble Construction for many years. Building dream homes for people was something he loved. He also loved his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church where he was ordained by the late Dr. Clifton Black. Jim started his ministry at Mountain Grove called Bridge the Gap. He ministered to those struggling with addiction. He has touched so many lives through this ministry. He also was involved and invited several of his friends to the Walk to Emmaus.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 41 years, Dare Goble; daughters, Felicia Stewart (Kevin) and Kristy Brown (Marcus); sons, Shannon Wright (Paula), Major Wright (Amy), and Karlos Hendren (Stella); 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Mountain Grove Baptist Church with Dr. David Mills officiating.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the Amorem staff at the Hudson patient care unit as well as home care staff, Latia Price, Nichole Annas, and Chaplin China Evans, and on-call staff Erin Wright, Brenda Greene, Wendy Pyle, and Tina Kitchener.
