Janice Craig Lovins, age 77, of Lenoir, North Carolina, entered her Heavenly home on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Janice was born on April 6, 1947 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Alec and Lucy Craig.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Reverend R.J. Lovins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Richard Lovins and wife Sherry P. Lovins; daughters, Crystal Walker and husband Todd, and Brandy Greene and husband Chris; brother, Thomas Craig; grandchildren, Adam Lovins and wife Brooke, Jesse Gullett and husband Jacob, Logan Lovins, Jacob Walker, Allyson Walker, Natalie Greene, and Nolan Greene; and great-grandchildren, Emery Walker, Maverick Walker, and Orbie Gullett.

Janice was a preacher's wife. She exemplified the glory of God and was a shining example of a Christian woman. She loved to help others. In fact, Janice never really met a stranger. She would talk to or help anyone. It did not matter who they were. Janice loved to talk, especially on the phone to loved ones.

A graveside service to honor the life of Janice Lovins will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Grandin Baptist Church Cemetery at 11am with Reverend Allen Younce officiating.
