Janice Bradshaw Vines, age 80, of Collettsville passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at Frye Regional Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1945 in Caldwell County to the late James G. Bradshaw and Hannah Pope Bradshaw.

Mrs. Vines was strong in her faith and had a great love for her church and family especially her grandsons and great-grandsons. She was most happy when outside watching her birds or tending to her vegetable garden and flowers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Theodore "Ted" Walter Vines; two sons, Jerald Vines and wife Rosemary and Kevin Vines and wife Tammy; two brothers, James Bradshaw and wife Susan and Steve Bradshaw and wife Jackie; three sisters, Jean Coffey and husband Joseph, Judy Sutton, and Debbie Lewis and husband Lamar; three beloved grandsons, Jamie Vines and wife Tiffany, Luke Vines, and Brett Vines; two great-grandsons, Carter and Chandler Vines; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Vines will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Todd, III., officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributes may be made to Collettsville School, 4690 Collettsville School Dr, Collettsville, NC 28611.
