Jason Lee Chester, age 50, of Granite Falls passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 17, 1975 in Caldwell County to Cathy Coffey Chester and the late Samuel Ray Chester. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by one niece, Brittany Victoria Chester.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include his brother, Tony Chester; step-mother, Kathy Chester; two nieces, Taylor Chester and Jadelynn Chester; one nephew, Zachary Chester; and one great-niece, Lauren Yount.
