It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeanne Amos Deal, aged 76, on February 14, 2025, at UNC Health Blue Ridge, Morganton. Jeanne was surrounded by her loved ones when she peacefully passed away after a period of declining health.

Born on November 11, 1948, in Evansville Indiana, Jeanne was the beloved daughter of Denzil Amos and Helen McNeily. Jeanne loved going to Pigeon Forge to see Elvis and visit Bu-cee's. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports.  Jeanne loved spending time with her family and her 5 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sharon Welch.  Jeanne is survived by her husband Phillip Deal, her children, Tammy (Rick) Shew and Jody (Charity) Deal as well as her five grandchildren, Lindsay (Matt) Cochran , Tyler (fiancé Lexie) Deal, Skyler Shew, Emily Shew, and Brooke Deal. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Eastwood, and multiple nephews and nieces.

A celebration of Jeanne's life will be held on February 16, 2025, at 3pm Harris Chapel Baptist Church in Hudson, NC.
