Jeff Wellman was born on February 26, 1969 in Pacoima, California to his proud parents, Glenn and Lillian (Till) Wellman, who preceded him in death. Jeff was raised and loved by his second mother, Maggie Saner, who also preceded him in death.

Jeff was known to many as a private and kindhearted person who loved his three sons, grandson, and step-children very much. There wasn't anything that he would not do for his loved ones. Jeff was a hard-working man, but he still managed to find time to take walks and play outside with his younger sons after a long day at work. He had a heart of gold and would not hesitate to help others if asked or needed. Jeff loved hard and with all his heart and he loved nothing more or harder than his three boys that he was so proud of.

Those left to cherish Jeff's memory include his eldest Jonathan Wellman (Donna Parks); grandson Jayden Wellman of Fort Polk, Louisiana; his two youngest sons Daquan and Jayden Wellman; estranged wife Angel Wellman; and six stepchildren. Jeff also leaves behind to cherish his life his sisters Sheryl W. Bye (Nephew Derrick Bye Jr. and nieces Kaila and Lillian Bye) of Conover, NC; Carla Abraham (Brother-In-Law Fred Abraham Jr.) Nieces Lavette and Niarah; nephew Fred Abraham of Lancaster, CA; additional sisters Mary Saner and Barbara Saner of Lenoir, NC; brothers Tyrone Barnes of Taylorsville, NC, Timmy Saner and Donald Saner of Hickory, NC; and he also leaves behind to cherish his life a host of family, friends, and loved ones.

The family of Jeff Wellman wants to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, prayers, and all acts of kindness during their time of bereavement.

A visitation will be held at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday July 20, 2023 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.

A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00PM.
