Jennifer Anne Keyes Reed, age 47, of Morganton, NC passed away on Monday evening, May 12, 2025, at her residence. She was born on November 25, 1977 to Ray Thomas and Renia Parsons Keyes.

Jennifer loved working at Lenoir Family Medicine and her co-workers. She had also been an employee of Caldwell Memorial Hospital working in the Lab as a phlebotomist and later as a surgical tech.

She loved decorating and making her house into a beautiful home especially at Christmas, her favorite holiday. She had recently created a Christmas room with three Christmas trees and her large nut cracker collection so that she could enjoy them year round.

Those left to cherish Jennifer's memory in addition to her parents, are husband Chris Reed, step son of the home Liam Reed, son Jarrett Pitts, brother Tommy Keyes (Wendy), niece Taylor Keyes, uncles Dick Keyes (Roselyn), Harry Keyes, Cyrus L. Parsons (Judy), Allen Parsons (Bessie), and Jennifer's cat Marmelade, that she loved so dearly.

Jennifer will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor, her big brown eyes, her beautiful smile, and the way she loved her family. Jennifer's friends and family will miss her immensely.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 2:00 pm, at Abington Road Baptist Church, Abington Road, Lenoir, NC.
