Jennifer Lea Davis, age 29, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born May 29, 1994 in Burke County to David and Crystal Carlton Davis. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Glen Davis, Harold Carlton, and Ola Carlton.

Jennifer was a beautiful and bright person, with an enormous heart, who always cared for all those around her. Everyone knew her as "Jenni" and couldn't help but smile and laugh when around her. She loved her family, friends, and her special animals with her whole heart. She was a ray of sunshine taken from this world too early in life.

Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents include one sister, Lauren Marley and husband Dustin; one niece, Kora; grandmother, Fern Davis; two uncles, Jack Davis and wife Debbie, and Bryan Davis; one aunt, Jill Church and husband Randy; and numerous cousins, all of Lenoir.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at West Lenoir Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Rick Safriet. Interment will be private.

Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Carswell, Mike Moore, Don Ford, David Annas, Bruce Spears, and J.R. Spann.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Caldwell County Animal Care Enforcement Division, 180 Government Way, Lenoir, NC 28645.
