Jerry Steel Barlow, age 83, passed away on October 19, 2023 in his home.

Jerry was born to the late Elisha and Lucy Carlton Barlow in Caldwell County, NC.  He was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.  He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Barlow Gillespie; three brothers, and one sister.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dorothy Barlow; daughter, Rita Roberts; sisters, Susie Lowrance and husband Fred and Anne Anderson and husband Alan; 4 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Cedar Rock Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Benny Hendrix officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
