Jerry Young Dennie, age 74, of Hudson passed away Monday,, November 3, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 22, 1951 in York County, South Carolina to the late David Howell Dennie and Mary Ellen Jordan Gantt. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Wilson Dennie; and one brother, David Lee Dennie.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 20 years, Susanna Fay Harvey Dennie; two twin daughters, Casey Dennie Triplett and Sandy Dennie Jones (Bryan); one brother, Ronald Dean Dennie (Susan); three beloved grandchildren, Meredith Jones (Cameron), Graham Triplett, and Emilee Jones; and a host of extended family.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Dry Ponds Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Sam Craven, Rev. Jeff Lambert, and Rev. Rob Evans officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
