Jo Ann Holman Walker

August 25, 1952- September 13, 2024

Jo Ann Holman Walker, 72, of Granite Falls, passed away and went to her Heavenly home on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Frye Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born August 25, 1952, in Caldwell County to the late Lee and Mildred Holman.

She was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lenoir, NC where for decades she was a part of the music ministry as a pianist. She spent the majority of her working career with Blue Ridge Energy in Lenoir, NC.

In addition to her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Holman, and her grandson, Landin Campbell.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Randy Walker of the home; son, Brandon and wife Tiffany of Granite Falls; daughter, Angela Marley of Granite Falls; brothers, Billy Holman and wife Regina of Lenoir and David Holman and wife Erma of Statesville; grandchildren, Gavin, Natalie, Wyatt, and Clint; as well as numerous other loved ones. The family will always remember Jo Ann as a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church in Lenoir, NC. It will be officiated by Reverend Alan Carr and Reverend Jim Robbins.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church.
