John David Crisp age 86, was welcomed home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday August 16, 2024. He was born February 18, 1938 to Walter Watson Crisp and Anna Coffey Crisp.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons David Crisp and wife Dawn, Matthew Crisp and wife Erana, one sister Jane Crisp Stallings (Harold), two grandchildren Jessica Crisp Fox (Hayden), Benjamin Crisp (Tiffany) and four great grandchildren Gabriel Fox, Natalie Fox, David Fox, Rhema Crisp and numerous nieces and nephews.

John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

John Crisp was a faithful member of Living Hope Church. He loved playing golf with his buddies and going on senior adult church trips, always being the life of the party. He was loved by everyone. He was always full of joy and had a joke to tell. John worked as a salesman for 45 years being awarded salesman of the year twice. He also pastored Shekinah Christian Fellowship for 15 years. He was a faithful minister of the Lord.

A memorial service will be held at Living Hope Church in Lenoir on Sunday August 25, 2024 at 4pm. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. David Crisp and Rev. Benjamin Crisp will be officiating the service.
