John Cochrane Reece, Jr. of Blowing Rock, North Carolina passed away on January 1, 2025.

John was born March 7, 1947 in Morganton, North Carolina, to John and Adelaide Reece. He attended Oak Ridge Military Academy in Oak Ridge, North Carolina and Fashion Institute of Technology, in New York City, New York.

John resided in Blowing Rock for many years and enjoyed working at J.W. Tweeds on Main Street.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Adelaide Reece, and his brother, Robert Henry Reece.

John is survived by his sister, Adelaide Reece Small, of Blowing Rock, North Carolina and Tampa Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
