Johnny Mac Suddreth, age 74, of Granite Falls passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Amorem Hospice of Hudson. He was born September 7, 1949 in Caldwell County to the late Tom Suddreth and Emma Irene Bryant Suddreth. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ila Madge Suddreth; two sons, John Suddreth and Timothy Peek; two daughters, Pamela Braun and Cathy Hubbard; four brothers, Kent Suddreth, Jimmy Suddreth, Truman Suddreth, and Infant Erby Joe Suddreth; and three sisters, Eula Mae Parsons, Sheila Griffin, and Nona Kelly.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Samuel Peek and Thomas Peek; one daughter, Angela Peek; two brothers, Tommy Suddreth and wife Rosalie, and Richard Suddreth and wife Annette; three sisters, Pastor Betty Suddreth, Bertha Griffin, and Lida Martinat; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Chris South.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
