Jonathan Christopher Perry, age 52, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away in his home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Jonathan was born on September 21, 1973 in Hampton City County to Edward "Eddie" and Pauline Perry.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dolly Star Arnett; parents, Edward and Pauline Perry; brothers, Lawrence Perry and Eric Perry (Amanda); nephews, Will Perry, Anderson Perry, and Alexander Perry; and nieces, Lauren Perry, Ella Perry, Ensley Perry, and Emmy Perry.

Jonathan was a talented cook. He also loved the outdoors, especially snowboarding. He loved animals. He was an all-around kind, giving, and loving person. He will be dearly missed.

A funeral service to honor the life of Jonathan Perry will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
