Mr. Joseph Andrew Eyer, age 92, of Hudson passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare.

Born March 2, 1933 in Northumerland County, Pennsylvania, Joseph was a son of the late George and Amy Ash Eyer. Joseph was very active.  He enjoyed working on model airplanes.  What he enjoyed most was gardening and working on his rose bushes.  He was a man who was loved by all that knew him. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Eyer and Eugene Eyer; a sister, Sarah Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Clark "Betsy" Eyer; Betsy's children, Scott Sanders (wife Amy) and DeAnna Flowers (husband David); grandchildren, Bryan Flowers (wife Savannah), Dylan Flowers (wife Skyler) and Lauren Pritchard (husband Jarrett); two great grandchildren, Wyatt Flowers and Jansen Pritchard; he is also survived by numerous other relatives.
