Judy Zimmerman Dillard, age 73, of Granite Falls gained her wings on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation surrounded by those who loved her.  She was born June 15, 1951 in Burke County to the late Odell W. Zimmerman and Rosa King Zimmerman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved daughters, Jessica Elaine Dillard (Jason Cook) of Hudson and Danielle Greene Price (Matt) of Lenoir; one sister, Marie McClure (Gary) of Valle Crucis; five grandchildren, Jennifer Hudson (Danny), Gage Dula, Haley Cook, Malinda Hudson, and Cora Price; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Hudson, Kailee June Hudson, Asher Hudson, and Blaize Roberts; and her special cat, Gracie.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dillard will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Hines officiating. The family requests guests to wear their favorite purple attire in memory of Mrs. Dillard.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
