Judy Rader Hendrix, 81, of Granite Falls passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024 following a period of declining health.
Judy was born on February 22, 1943 in Caldwell County to the late Earl Rader and Muriel Curtis Rader.
Judy worked as a Banker for the Bank of Granite for over 50 years. She was the manager of the Hudson location where she later retired. Judy was heavily involved in the Hudson community all throughout her life. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary for the Hudson DAV, a proud member of First Baptist Church of Hudson, where she worked in the nursery for years, a member of the Hudson Planning Committee, and was once presented with the "Woman of the Year Award" for Hudson, NC.
Judy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never missed a family event and always put her family first. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amber Nicole Parrish.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Brian Hendrix and Darren Hendrix; daughter, Terri Parrish (Bob); brother, Jack Rader (Teresa); grandchildren, Danny Woodring, Danielle Misenheimer (Adam), Tiffani Barlow (Josh), Kristen Massey (Davis), and Ryan Parrish; great-grandchildren, Emma Misenheimer, Jayce Barlow, and Declan Massey.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Hudson with Rev. Mack Jarvis officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Hudson.
Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery across from the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choosing.
