Mrs. June Edith Brown Colvard, age 90, of Hudson passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025 in Panama City, Florida.

Born January 31, 1935 in Wilkes County, NC, June was a daughter of the late Oscar and Lilly Dancy Brown.  June was a nurse for many years.  She enjoyed caring for others.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Neal Colvard; a sister, Joyce Hoyle; two brothers, J.E. Brown and Jamie Brown.

Survivors include a daughter, April Vecchio (husband Gene); a son, Christopher Alan Colvard; a niece, Kathy Scott; she is also survived by numerous other relatives.

A graveside celebration of June's life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir.

The family will receive friends on Friday, at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
