Kathryn “June” Lynn Adkins Rich, age 71 of Lenoir passed away Friday, July 24, 2026 at Amorem Hospice. She was born December 5, 1954 in Watauga County to the late Lloyd McKinley Adkins, Sr. and Ruby Greer Adkins. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one daughter, Larissa Church; and two brothers, Lloyd Adkins, Jr. and Boyd Adkins.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 40 years, Leonard Albert Rich, Jr.; one daughter, Crystal Puett (Sam); two sisters, Margaret Snyder (Danny) and Deborah Pennell (Frankie); five grandchildren, Michelle Puett, Ryan Puett (Shelby), Dustin Paschall, Makela Miller (Rustin), and Tyler Church (Hannah); two great-grandchildren, Carrie Paschall and Samuel Puett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery of Blowing Rock with Rev. Lathan Peterson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Paschall, Rustin Miller, Tyler Church, Sam Puett, Jason Lackey, Ryan Puett.
