Kelly D. Auton Philyaw-Metcalf, age 52, of Lenoir passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born August 8, 1971 in Caldwell County to the late Jack and Ramona Greer Auton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jonathan "John" Metcalf, of the home; one son, Jonathon Hall of Lenoir; one daughter, Mandy Philyaw of Tennessee; one brother, Jack "JT" Auton, Jr., of Lenoir; two sisters, Shannon Mathis and Misty Auton, both of Lenoir; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Thomas. Interment will immediately follow at the Auton Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles "Charlie" Bowlin, Cory Perry, Scott Ryder, Nikoli Martin, Jonathon Hall, and Mark Metcalf.
