Kimberly Denise Hargett Blevins, age 57, of Granite Falls, North Carolina passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, June 12, 2026.

Kimberly was born on October 1, 1968 in Catawba County, North Carolina to Calvin and Lynda Hargett.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Hargett Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, LaMarr Blevins; son, Brand Blevins (Kayla); daughter, Heather Beaver (Alan); bonus child, Brandon Harris; and grandchildren, Izabella Blevins and Ryker Blevins.

Kimberly was the best mother anyone could ask for. She would do anything for anyone in need, and she dedicated her entire adult life to caring for children. She worked for over 25 years in Caldwell County Schools, and was a member of Free Spirit Baptist Church. Kimberly will be remembered as an extremely giving and loving person. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor the life of Kimberly Blevins will be held at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 2:00PM with Reverend Jobie Borders officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.

Greer-McElveen Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
