Kirk Alan Evans, age 70, of Lenoir passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. He was born March 28, 1953 in Neosho County, Kansas to the late Ralph Evans and Mae Louise Crowe Evans.

Mr. Evans was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Day 3 Church and was strong in his faith. He was a volunteer EMT for 7 years and worked in robotic sales, engineering, and most recently was a recruiter for travel nursing.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 17 years, Patricia Ball Evans, of the home; one daughter, Kristina McKenzie (Jerrod); grandchildren, Dylan and Jenna; bonus children, Lara Wentzel (Barry) and Jason Hutton; six bonus grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
