Kristi Sue McElfresh Thomas, age 70, of Lincolnton, NC passed unexpectedly on Wednesday February 7th, 2024, at her home.

Kristi was born April 8th, 1953, in Zanesville, Ohio to Harry K and Monna B. McElfresh.

In addition to her husband Scott J. Thomas of 42 years she is survived by her daughters, Tisha (Dutch) Bivens of Edison, Ohio, Tiffany Foster of Columbus, Ohio; Sisters, Donna Boley of Zanesville, Ohio,  Laurel (Greg) Paul, and Janet (Craig) Thompson of Nashport, Ohio; Brother, Ben McElfresh of Dresden, Ohio and her beloved Granddaughters, Brittany of Ashville, NC, Skye of Edison, Ohio, Trinity of Lincolnton, NC, Auracle & Serenity of Columbus, Ohio and Mother in law, Phyllis Thomas of Hickory, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her daughter Chaska Lynne, Brothers Allen Keith and Charles Wesley and Father-in-law PT Thomas.

Kristi was a 1971 graduate of Philo High School. She was a successful businesswoman and worked for many years at Avnet Electronics where she retired as a Regional Sales Manager. Kristi's favorite pastime was anything that involved her daughters and grandchildren. They were her greatest source of joy. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, jeeping with husband Scott and never met a stranger. She enjoyed her four-legged fur babies and took them everywhere she went. While her passing will leave great sadness to family and friends her legacy and light will remain.

Greer-McElveen Funeral Home assisted the family with the cremation services. A Celebration of Life will be held in Ohio at later date.
