Landwell Houck McCall, age 81, of Lenoir passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born August 5, 1943 in Caldwell County to the late Jennings McCall and Corabell Houck McCall. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Ray McCall; one sister, Vona Gail Chester; one son, Vance McCall; one granddaughter, Stephanie Stuart; and one grandson, Ethan McCall.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 30 years, Nancy Day McCall; one son, Shane McCall (Delana); two step-sons, Jimmy Day and Mark Day; one daughter, Tammy McCall; three grandchildren; Tiffany McCall, Hailey McCall, and Heath Cornett; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Macy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Lenoir First Wesleyan Church with Rev. James Baker officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Edwards, Jimmy Henson, Eddie Holman, Mitchell McCoy, Mark Bottoms, and Dustin Walker.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lenoir First Wesleyan Church, 906 Creekway Drive NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
