Lantha Oxford Bryant, 87 of Granite Falls passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at her residence with her husband by her side.

She was born on November 22, 1936 in Caldwell County to the late Otis Oxford, Sr and Ethel Austin Oxford. Lantha was a member of Colliers United Methodist Church for 44 years. She enjoyed painting and singing in the church choir.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Triplett; three sisters, Helen Smith, Wanda Smith, and Linda Buffington; one brother, Gary Oxford; and sister-in-law, Nina Oxford.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Ralph Lore Bryant, of the home; daughter, Twyla Kirby of Granite Falls; two step sons, Greg Bryant and wife Shelley of Granite Falls, and Blair Bryant and wife Mary of Granite Falls; brothers, Otis Oxford, Jr. and Bill Oxford; and numerous grandchildren, step grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.

A Celebration of Lantha's Life will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Colliers United Methodist Church with Rev. Ann Gibert and Rev. Adam Love officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM.

Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
