Larry "Butch"Gene Storie, age 74, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at his home.

Born May 24, 1949 in Caldwell County, Larry was a son of the late Pauline Louise Storie Gragg.  In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Earp; a grandson, Jordan Storie.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Kathey Marshall Storie of Lenoir; two sons, Tony Lee Storie (Sharon) and Scottie Allen Storie (Heather) both of Lenoir; a daughter, Crystal Morgan of Valdese; two brothers, Terry Earp of Hudson and Chad Gragg of Lenoir; two sisters, Judy Greene and Cathy Wilcox (Jeff) both of Lenoir; he is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great granddaughters and two on the way; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Storie will be private.
