Larry Eugene Laws, age 68, of North Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023. He was born April 19, 1955 in Wilkes County to Ada Marie Lackey Laws and the late J.T. Laws. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by three brothers, Roger Dale Laws, Stuart Laws, and Carl K. Laws "Pete".

Those left to cherish is memory in addition to his mother include one daughter, Marie Laws and husband Quinton; one son, Larry Wayne Laws; two step-children, Michael Yarusinsky, and Katie Allen; six brothers, Jay C. Laws "Tommy", Steve Laws, Lonnie Lackey, Dwight Laws, Jason Laws, Doug Laws and David Laws; four sisters, Juanita Wheatley, Annette Huffman, Glenda Richardson, and Loretta Hall; four beloved grandchildren, Bryton, Emma, Bradley, and Daniel; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Larry was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Larry was truly a jack of all trades. He was very generous and loved to serve his family and friends. He was also known to make the best deer jerky around!

His most cherished memories were those made alongside his children and grandchildren. He was the best Daddy and Pawpaw to them. While he may not be physically here on Earth, he will always be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Moore officiating.
