Larry Douglas Lovins, age 62, of Lenoir passed away Monday, June 8, 2026 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1964 in Caldwell County to Betty Mae Hartley Lovins and the late Paul Asbury Lovins.

Mr. Lovins retired from Sealed Air after forty years of dedication. Larry was strong in his faith and loved life but more importantly he loved his family, he made sure to spend his last year's enjoying as much time with them as he could. He would not want people to mourn his passing but rather to celebrate his entry into his Heavenly home.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Kimberly L. Lovins; one son, Paul Jacob Douglas Lovins; three daughters, Ashley Mae Earp (James), Heather Anne Bishop, and Paige Brooke Lynn Storie; two sisters, Margie Davis and Darla May (Rodney); six beloved grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and his two faithful companions- his dogs, Black Jack and Little.

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Mr. Lovins will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Pritchard officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.
