Leslie Hern Smith, age 75, of Connelly Springs passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Autumn Care of Drexel. He was born July 30, 1950 in Burke County to the late Vernon Eugene Smith and Katherine Hern Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Sonny Smith and Gavin Smith; one step-son, Daniel Bristol; one brother, Eugene Smith (Wanda); one sister, Susan Corliss (Michael); special friend, Alice Salthouse; three grandchildren, Morgan, Emily, and Sydney Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
