Linda Angela Key, age 75, entered her heavenly home on Sunday,

October 5, 2025. She was loved by her family and all who knew her.

Linda was born in Lenoir, NC on September 19, 1950, to Gene and Lorraine Key.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Key; brother, Terry Key; infant brother, Boyd Key; and son, Jonathan Bryant. Those left to cherish Linda's memory are her mother, Lorraine Key; brother, Floyd Key; daughter, Leah Haas (David); daughter, Jennifer Tuttle; son, Ian Bryant (Michelle); son, Quinn McGee (Kendra), and daughter-in-law, Kelly Bryant.  She was "Nannie" to her older grandchildren, Caroline Kidd (Chris), Hannah Bryant (Will), Griffin Haas, Walker Bryant (Kloie) and Benjamin Bryant, and lovingly known as "Flat Nanny" to her younger grandchildren, Kerrigan and Callen McGee. She loved and adored her 3 great-grandchildren, Ellis Kidd, Henry Kidd and Kaden Bryant.

Linda cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She had a deep love for animals, a lifelong passion for sewing, and found

joy in exploring history and the past. Linda loved gardening, reading and

spending time surrounded by her favorite books.

In honoring her wishes, there will be no receiving or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jonathan C. Bryant Memorial Scholarship through the Education Foundation of Caldwell County, 1914 Hickory Boulevard SW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
