Linda Sue Bryant Martin, age 76, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Shaire Center. She was born January 16, 1950 in Caldwell County to the late Junie Adam Bryant and Mary Lee Setzer Bryant. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Martin; one son-in-law, Leo Tanner; and numerous siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Gregory Bryant; three daughters, Wendy Greene (Brian), Tonya Tanner, and Shanda Lingerfelt (Shawn); one brother, Steve Bryant (Jan); numerous nieces and nephews; thirteen grandchildren, Matthew Bryant, Megan Byrd (Nathan), Jacob Nelson (Alyssa), Taylor Tanner (Kaitlyn), Adam Bryant (Ana), A.J. Johnson, Brittany Greene, Kurt Hartzog (Michelle), Nathan Greene (Jodi), Summer Duncan (Braeden), Jessica Harold (Billy), Aydan Lingerfelt, and Skyler Lingerfelt; and eleven great-grandchildren, Charlotte Byrd, Hudson Byrd, Jacob Nelson, Jr., Annabelle Nelson, Charles Greene, Brian Greene, Ares Greene, Adyson Hartzog, Noah Hartzog, Westin Hartzog, and Eliana Bryant.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Poarch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church with Rev. Wallace Smith, Rev. Mike Greene, and Rev. Debi Barker officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Celia Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Greene, Shawn Lingerfelt, Greg Bryant, A.J. Johnson, Adam Bryant, Nathan Byrd, and Jacob Nelson.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shaire Center, 1450 Shaire Center Drive, Lenoir, North Carolina 28645.
