Linda Griffin McCall, age 74, of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away in her home on January 3, 2025.

Linda was born on September 16, 1950 to the late Otis and Cordie Cardwell Griffin in Wilkes County, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, James Griffin, Thomas "Tommy Lee" Griffin, and Herman Griffin; as well as sisters, Dorothy Mosley, Ina V. Bumgarner, Eva Lee Foster, and Aline Leonard.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bradley McCall; sons, Eric Spears (Jeanne), and Jessie McCall; daughter, Lisa Norman (Jody); step-daughter, Sandy Walter (Edward); sister, Barbara Sofia; grandchildren, Raelyn McCall, Jessica Ward, and Heather Ward; nephew, Bobby Sweat (Theresa); as well as additional numerous loved ones.

Linda was a member of Flemings Chapel for 35 years. She loved her church and was very involved with them. She loved her Sunday school as well. Linda loved life in general and had many friends. She loved her yard and her rose garden. In fact, she was known for her beautiful yard. She loved animals and loved visiting the mountains as well. Most importantly, Linda loved the Lord and her family. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and grandmother. She is going to be dearly missed.

A funeral service to honor Linda's life will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church at 2:00PM with Reverend David Payne and Reverend Steve Parker officiating.

The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church from 1:00PM until 2:00PM.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kenny McCall, Keith McCall, Robert Smith, Ron Lackey, Cecil Haynes, and Bobby Sweat. Honorary pallbearers will include Jeff Davis, Harold McCall, Harold Blankenship; Larry Ashley, Danny Kincaid, Gary Hall, and Roger Whitman.
