Linda Day Money, 78, of Lenoir passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 following a period of declining health.

Linda was born on June 26, 1945 in Watauga County to the late Spencer Day and Laura Bryan Day. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Jerry S. Day and one daughter, Tammy Renee Money.

Her joys in life were making meals for her family, working in her flower garden, and taking care of her grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Bobby Wayne Money, of the home; sons, Robert Keith Money and wife Kristy, of Lenoir and Christopher Wayne Money and wife Bianca, of Lenoir; grandchildren, Spencer Money, Isabella Money, Paige Money, Anna Money, and Brooklynn Corpening; and great-grandchildren, Maverick and Mya Corpening.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Alan Carr. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
