Mrs. Lois Marie Sherrill Teeters, age 92, of Lenoir passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.

Born July 2, 1933 in Caldwell County, Lois was a daughter of the late Guy Shell and Pearl Perry Sherrill. Before her declining health, Lois was an active member of Hudson First Baptist Church and many programs sponsored by the church.

In addition to her parents, She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Bronson Teeters; a daughter, Shelia Marie Teeters; her twin sister, Lena Sherrill Barlow; two brothers, Earl Sherrill and Wayne Sherrill.

Survivors include her two sons, William Michael "Mike" Teeters (wife Kristen) and Kelvin Bronson Teeters; two grandchildren, Anthony Blake Teeters and Shellie Marie Wheeler; she is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service for Lois will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Hudson First Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Dellinger officiating.   Interment will follow the service at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Hudson First Baptist Church prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hudson First Baptist Church Library Fund.
