Obituary

Louise Greer Kincaid went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 15, 2023, surrounded by family, caregivers, and friends.

Louise was the 2nd of five children born to the late Fred and Ruth Greer.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her beloved son, Ben Kincaid, Jr.; as well as a cherished sister, Juanita Teems; two brothers, Ted Greer and Ned Greer.

Those left to cherish wonderful memories include her loving husband of 75 years, Ben Kincaid, Sr; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Lawrence Robertson, Gloria and Paul Parker; sister and brother-in-law, Patti and Jim Lapinski; a granddaughter and spouse, Lorie and John Duvall; 2 grandsons, David Kincaid and spouse Jenny; and Patrick Parker; 3 great granddaughters: Sophia Duvall and Leah and Molly Kincaid; former daughter-in-law, Martha Jo Suttles and husband Tom Suttles; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Louise was known as the glue that held the family together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for her family, shopping, sending cards to family and friends to just encourage and uplift them in times of hardship. She had a way of making visitors feel like family.

She put her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as a young woman. She loved her church, Hudson First Baptist Church, where she was an active member until her health did not allow her to attend. Louise helped with the GA's, and served on the baptism committee as well as Fellowship Sunday school class.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of Louise's caregivers.

Memorials can be made to Amorem Hospice and the Alzheimers Foundation.

A private service will be held and burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
