Marilyn Baldwin Cardwell, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her friends and family on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Marilyn was born on January 20, 1938 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Henry David and Lois Baldwin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Cardwell and son, Robin Cardwell.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Pamela Tucker (Mike); son, Dr. Wesley Cardwell (Cary); grandchildren, Ashley McDade (Gibson), Alex Cardwell, Caroline MacIsaac (Dan), and Christopher Tucker; and great grandchild, Carrington McDade.

Marilyn will be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother and nana.
