Martha Lillian Vines Ford, age 85, of Lenoir, North Carolina, awoke in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Lillian was born on December 24, 1939 in Caldwell County, North Carolina, to the late William and Maude Vines.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dock Tatum Ford; one infant brother; and grandson, Heath Key.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Stanley Ford (Marisa), Kelly Ford (Amy), and Lyle Ford (Angie); daughters, Gaye Ford Key (R.P) and Jackie Bradshaw (Steven); brother, Otis Vines (Joyce); grandchildren, Garrett, Devin, Trevor, Seth, Kasey, Gabby, Kaydin, and Preston; and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Ruthie, Harrison, Wyatt, Chatham, Landree, Ben, Corey, Caleb, Emma, and Zoe.

Lillian loved everyone, and they, in turn, loved her back just as much. Her grandchildren were the apples of her eye. Lillian had so many special friends, and she was a great mother, nana, and great-nana. She was a member of Mulvale Baptist Church. She also volunteered at Yolkfellow, where she had many friends.

A memorial service to honor the life of Lillian Ford will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00am to 11:00am with a memorial service to follow at 11:00AM with Reverend Shane Duncan officiating.
