Martin Rayford Conner, age 60, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Duke University Hospital. He was born April 3, 1964 in Caldwell County to Reid Conner and Katherine Camp Jordan.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents include his loving wife, Karen Barus Conner of the home; three step-children, Richard Lydens of Lenoir, Salina Widner of Hudson, and Jeffrey Helton of Taylorsville; one brother, Paul Conner and wife Roberta of Lenoir; one sister, Carolyn Henderson and husband Russel of Hendersonville; six step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Crossroads Community Church with Rev. Rick Bowman officiating.
