Mary Louise Johnson Smith, age 98, went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 4, 2025. She was born November 19, 1926 in Caldwell County to the late Noah and Carrie Rainey Johnson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Lester Lee Smith; her son, Steven Lee Smith and was the last of ten children.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Keith Smith of Lenoir; and her precious cat companion, Sheba.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Leah E. Epps officiating.
