Melanie A. Holden, age 77, of Hudson passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at Hickory Falls Health and Rehabilitation after a brief illness. She was born August 25, 1947 in Caldwell County to the late Robert "Bob" Lee Holden and Clemey Elizabeth Cline Holden.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Nicole Harris (Melvin) of Hudson; one brother, Bobby Holden (Marsha) of Hudson; ex-husband, Richard Bradshaw (Jo) of Lenoir; and two beloved grandchildren, Nicolas Tessener and Hunter Harris.

A Memorial Service for Melanie will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Hudson First Baptist Church with Pastor Mack Jarvis officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1787 Cajah Mountain Rd, Hudson, NC 28638; or Hudson First Baptist Church, 345 Main Street, Hudson, NC 28638.
