Michael Steven "Steve" Tessener

Michael Steven "Steve" Tessener, 53, passed away peacefully at his home on September 14, 2025. He was born on October 7, 1971, to Michael S. Tessener and Kathy W. Goforth.

Steve was a devoted father to his son, Nicolas Tessener, who was the greatest joy of his life. He had a passion for NASCAR and golf, and he enjoyed sharing stories and moments with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Geraldine Tessener, and Carl and Lela Ware. He is survived by his loving son, Nicolas; his parents, Michael and Kathy; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family who will cherish his memory.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Kings Mountain on Sunday, September 28, at 3:00 P.M.
