Michael Stewart Tester, age 54, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Michael was born on June 18, 1971 in Caldwell County, North Carolina to the late Olan Tester and Gail Cooke.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Emily Ackerman (Branson), Morgan Tester, and Madison Crisp; brothers, Max Tester (Amy), Jeff Bentley (Brennan), Phillip Bentley, and Tim Cooke  (Pam); nephew, Matt Tester (Katelin); nieces, Jessica Tester and Danielle McNeil; cousin, Travis Morrow; and aunts, Maris Littlejohn (Larry) and Gail Triplett (Larry).

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors in general. He was also a NASCAR fan. Michael loved his family and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

A memorial service to honor the life of Michael Stewart Tester will be held on Thursday, May 21st, 2026 at Closer Walk Baptist Church at 2:00PM with Reverend Junior Hamby officiating.
